The Indian Navy has invited online applications from unmarried male and female candidates for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) course commencing in January 2027. Eligible candidates who have appeared in JEE Main 2026 can apply online through the official website Join Indian Navy from 29 May 2026 to 18 June 2026.

Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, and will be granted Permanent Commission in the Executive and Technical branches of the Indian Navy.

Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry 2026 Age Limit

Candidates should be born between:

  • 02 July 2007 to 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with:
    • Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
    • Minimum 50% marks in English in either Class 10 or Class 12
  • Appeared for JEE (Main) 2026 for B.E./B.Tech

SSB shortlisting will be based on JEE Main 2026 Common Rank List (CRL).


Selection Process

The selection process includes:

  1. Shortlisting based on JEE Main 2026 CRL
  2. SSB Interview
  3. Medical Examination
  4. Final Merit List

Training Details

Selected candidates will undergo:

  • Four-year B.Tech training at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding

The Indian Navy will bear the complete cost of training, books, clothing, and messing facilities.
