UPSSSC Forest Guard & Wildlife Guard Recruitment 2026 – 708 Vacancies | Apply Online from 30 June
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released Advertisement No. 12-Exam/2026 for the Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard Main Examination (PET-2025 based). A total of 708 vacancies have been announced under the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Uttar Pradesh.
Eligible candidates who appeared in PET 2025 can apply online from 30 June 2026 to 20 July 2026 through the official website.

All posts are under Pay Level-2 with salary range ₹19,900 – ₹63,200.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Passed Intermediate (10+2) from UP Board or any recognized equivalent board.
Preferential Qualification (Desirable)
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Served minimum 2 years in Territorial Army
- NCC “B” Certificate
- Computer Application Certificate from recognized institute
- Represented the State in sports
Eligibility Criteria
PET 2025 Mandatory
Only candidates who:
- Appeared in Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025
- Have been issued PET 2025 Scorecard
- Secured more than zero (positive normalized score)
are eligible to apply.
Candidates with zero or negative normalized scores will not be shortlisted.
Age Limit (As per 1 July of Recruitment Year)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and other reserved categories as per UP Government rules.

At the application stage, only Online Processing Fee of ₹25 is required for all categories:
