Educational Qualification
Trade Apprentices (NAPS)
- ITI in relevant trade (AOCP/Fitter/Electrician/IMCP)
- Must be recognized by SBTE/NCVT/GCVT
- Qualification obtained in 2022 or later
Graduate Apprentices (NATS)
- B.Com / BBA / Bachelor’s Degree in IT
- Recognized by UGC/AICTE
- Full-time regular degree only (No distance/part-time)
Age Limit (As on 15 May 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Date of Birth between 15 May 2002 to 15 May 2008
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 Years
- OBC (NCL) – 3 Years
- PwBD – 10 Years (Additional relaxation as per category)
OPaL Apprentice Stipend 2026

Eligibility Conditions
- Must not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier.
- Candidates with 1 year or more job experience after qualification are not eligible.
- Must belong to eligible districts of respective locations.
- Aadhaar-linked bank account and PAN card mandatory.
- Electrician post requires Electrician trade certificate (Wireman not accepted).
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- In case of a tie, preference will be given to the older candidate.
- Reservation applicable as per Government rules.
- 20% seats reserved for candidates from Ambetha & Suva villages (Vagra Taluka), subject to eligibility.
