The Office of the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), South Andaman has released an official vacancy notice for Group ‘C’ Industrial and Non-Ministerial posts under the Department of Environment & Forests, Andaman & Nicobar Administration.

Salary Details
- Pay Matrix Level-1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900
- Government job with allowances as per A&N Administration rules
- 2 Years Probation Period
Educational Qualification
For Mazdoor:
- 10th Pass from recognized board
- Must have good physique
- Must qualify Physical Test
- Knowledge of Hindi (Desirable)
For Other Posts:
- 10th Pass OR
- ITI Certificate in relevant trade (where applicable)
- Must qualify Trade Test
- Good Physical Fitness Required
Age Limit (As on 29 April 2026)
- Male: 18 to 33 Years
- Female: 18 to 38 Years
Age Relaxation:
- ST: 5 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- Central Govt Employees: Up to 40 Years
- Meritorious Sports Persons: As per rules

Selection Process
Selection will be based on Physical Test (3 Levels):
Level-I: Running Test (Shortlisting Stage)
- Male: 10 KM Run
- Female: 8 KM Run
- 15 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted
Level-II: Long Jump (Qualifying)

Level-III: Weight Carrying Test (Final Merit)
- Male: 30 kg for 500 meters
