Selection Process

The recruitment has 3 stages:

Computer Based Test (CBT)

Two papers:

Paper-1 (100 marks)
Subjects:

  • General Awareness – 35

  • Quantitative Aptitude – 20

  • Reasoning – 20

  • English – 10

  • Punjabi – 10

  • Digital Literacy – 5

Duration: 2 hours

Paper-2 (Punjabi Language)

  • 50 questions

  • Qualifying only (50% required)

No negative marking

Physical Test

  • Running

  • Long jump

  • High jump

  • Height measurement

Document Verification

Minimum Marks Required

After normalization:

  • General: 40% in Paper-1

  • SC / BC / EWS / Ex-servicemen: 35%

Plus

  • 50% in Punjabi Paper-2

Final Merit

Merit list based only on:

Paper-1 marks (after normalization)

Paper-2 is only qualifying.
