1. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Group C (Non-Technical)

    • Valid LMV & HMV Driving License

    • Knowledge of motor mechanism

    • Minimum 3 years driving experience

    • 10th standard pass

  • Upper Age Limit: 27 years

Job Responsibilities

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Nature of Work

  • Office & guest house maintenance

  • Cleaning, dusting, file movement

  • Photocopying, scanning, binding

  • Dak receiving & dispatch

  • Assisting R&D activities

  • Garden and green space maintenance

  • Tea/coffee/snacks service

  • Shift duty & holiday work if required

  • Any other duty assigned by authority

Driver – Nature of Work

  • Driving LMV & HMV safely

  • Vehicle cleanliness & upkeep

  • Maintenance scheduling & log books

  • Insurance, Fast-tag, and bill processing

  • Transport of staff and materials

Desirable: Experience in both LMV & HMV driving.

CSIR-IITR Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Cut-off Date: 19 February 2026

Age Relaxation (as per GoI rules)

  • SC/ST – 5 years

  • OBC (NCL) – 3 years

  • PwBD – Up to 10 years (MTS post only)

  • Widows/Divorced/Judicially separated women – Up to 35 years
