The Indian Navy has released the official notification inviting online applications from unmarried men and women for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) for various Executive, Technical, and Education Branches under the Jan 2027 (ST 27) Course. Special Provisions
- Merchant Navy Officers with valid CoC are eligible for Executive/Technical entries.
- CPL Holders (DGCA India) can apply for Pilot entry.
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders get 5% relaxation in cutoff marks for SSB shortlisting.
- GS(X) officers may volunteer for Submarine Arm or RPA Specialisation.

Training & Commission
- Rank on Induction: Sub Lieutenant
