Qualification & Experience : A Bachelor degree in EEE/ECE/EIE/CSE/IT Engineering
OR A pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Electrical Engineering Branch OR Equivalent recognized by the UGC
Selection process : Apply the post in online and appearing for online examination alone is not guarantee for appointment or selection to the post.
All eligible candidates including the candidates sponsored by the Employment Exchange,
Apprentices candidates in TNEB/ TANGEDCO/ TANTRANSCO and open market should
apply through ON LINE to appear in the Competitive online examination. The tentative list
of eligible candidates (i.e., from the list of candidates who have appeared for the
Competitive Online exam) will be called in the ratio of 1: 1 for certificate verification as
per the marks obtained by the candidates in the examination and as per communal roster.
The competitive Online exam shall be conducted by TANGEDCO/ TNPSC or any other
agency as decided by the competent authority at that time of events.
The tentative list of eligible candidates (i.e., from the list of candidates who have
appeared for the exam) will be called in the ratio of 1:1 for certificate verification as per
the marks obtained by the candidates in the Competitive written/ Online Exam and as per
Communal roster.
Note:
The qualification prescribed for this post should have been obtained by passing the
required qualification in the order of studies i.e. 10th + HSC/Diploma + U.G. degree
(Regular/Part time) as the case may be from any university or Institution, recognized by
the University Grants commission or any of the Universities recognized by the
Government of Tamil Nadu. The candidates who have passed U.G. degree through
Distance education / Correspondence mode from any university or Institution,
recognized by the University Grants commission or any of the Universities recognized by
the Government of Tamil Nadu are not eligible for this post except than those who are
covered in the SLP orders made in Civil Appeal Nos.17869-17870/2017 (Arising out of
Special Leave Petition (C) Nos.19807-19808/2012).
Knowledge in Tamil:-
Candidates should possess an adequate knowledge of the official language of the
State, namely Tamil, on the date of this notification as per (Per.) FB TANGEDCO
