CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF KERALA invites applications in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for filling up the following non-teaching positions:
ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN

Qualification and Experience:
(a) Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade of 55%, where grading system is practised and a consistently good academic record with knowledge on computerization of library.
(b) Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or other accredited test like SLET/SET in Library Science conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other Agency approved by the UGC.
(c) Holders of Ph.D degree as on the date of Notifications of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil/Ph.D degree), Regulations, 2009 and so adopted by the University shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Note: 5% relaxation in minimum marks at Master’s level shall be allowed for candidates of SC/ST and physically challenged category.
Upper Age Limit: Not more than 45 years as on 1.2.2011Last date: 21st February, 2011
