Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in relevant Engineering or Technology discipline from a recognized state board, AICTE, or university.
- Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Degree in Engineering/Technology from recognized university/institution.
- General Stream Graduate Apprentice: B.Com, BCA, BBA, BSW, or equivalent recognized by state/central government.
Age Limit:
- 18–27 years for general candidates
- Age relaxation applicable: 5 yrs for SC/ST, 3 yrs for OBC-NCL, 10 yrs for PwD candidates
Other Conditions:
- Candidates must not be undergoing any other full-time course during training.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices Act 1973 are not eligible.
Selection Process
The selection process is merit-based and includes:
- 80% weightage for marks obtained in qualifying exams
- 20% weightage for interview performance
- Document verification for proof of date of birth, qualification, category, etc.
