Jamia Hamdard Government of New Delhi Invites applications for the post of Professor
Jamia Hamdard Department under the Government of New Delhi recruiting Professor in the month of October 2020,The various teaching post(s) purely
on contractual basis in the School of Unani Medical Education and Research
(SUMER), Jamia Hamdard . The interview will be conducted on 14/10/2020. There are 01 Professor Vacancies. The minimum qualification required for the Professor’post is Bachelor degree/Post-graduate degree and the selection will be based on interview.

Qualification & experience : (i) A Bachelor degree
in Unani Medicine from a University or its equivalent as
recognised under the Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970
(48 of 1970);
(ii) A Post-graduate degree in the subject
or speciality concerned included in the Schedules to the
Indian Medicine Central Act, 1970.
Experience-
Ten years teaching experience in concerned
subject or five years teaching experience as
Associate Professor (Reader) in concerned
subject or total ten years research experience in
regular service in Research Councils of Central
Government or State Government or Union
territory or University or National Institutions
Minimum Five papers published in a recognised
journal.
Selection Process : Selection will be based on walk in interview.
Note:-
1. The requisite qualification(s) and experience shall be as per the CCIM norms.
2. The candidates selected will be given appointment on purely contractual basis for a
fixed term.
3. Preference shall be given to the candidates having Doctoral in Unani.
4. Interested candidates should bring their updated CV along with all original
educational certificates/mark sheets, self-attested photo copy and a recent passport
size photograph. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending interview.
