Reader/Assistant Professor/Assistant Investigator job description:

The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine Department under the    Government of  India    recruiting Reader/Assistant Professor/Assistant Investigator in the month of October 2020,.The application can apply online before 25/11/2020.There are 01 Reader/Assistant Professor/Assistant Investigator Vacancies.  The minimum qualification required for the Reader/Assistant Professor/Assistant Investigator  post is Ph.D in Life Sciences or other Allied Sciences and the selection will be based on Interview.

Reader/Assistant Professor/Assistant Investigator  Qualification & experience : 

Ph.D in Life Sciences or other Allied Sciences or equivalent with 8 years R & D experience including Ph.D, demonstrated by strong publications and successful funding of competitive extramural grants.

: Should be an outstanding scientist with a strong and exceptional research record with independent discovery research and collaborative/thematic research of a high order. The candidate must have a consistent track record of scientific accomplishment (as demonstrated through publications) in areas of cellular, developmental and stem cell biology; inflammation and immunology; epithelial biology and/or microbiome analysis in the context of tissues. They would be expected to lead an internationally competitive research program within the broad area of the theme, which includes the supervision of Ph.D students, post-doctoral fellows, leveraging external resources and contributing the core programs in the theme. The successful candidate will use technical approaches and address scientific questions that add novel dimensions to the theme effort while also benefitting from the existing skills and resources already assembled in the CITH theme.
