Essential Qualification Clerk and Stenographer Recruitment

• For Clerk and Stenographer Grade-III
  • A Bachelors degree in Arts Science or equivalent.
  • Passed 10th Grade with Punjabi as a subject.
  • Proficiency in computer applications like Word Processing and Spreadsheets.

Clerk and Stenographer Recruitment Age Limit

The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 37 years as on 01/09/2025 for the General Category. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Punjab Government rules.

Selection Process Clerk and Stenographer Recruitment

1. For Clerk:
   • Written Examination in English Composition and General Knowledge.
   • Computer Proficiency Test for qualified candidates.
   • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Judicial Department.
2. For Stenographer Grade-III:
   • English Shorthand test at a speed of 80 W.P.M.
   • Transcription test at a speed of 20 W.P.M.
   • Computer Proficiency Test.
   • Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a Stenographer.
