Vacancy :01

Age : 35 years for men and 40 years for women
                
Pay Scale : Rs 31000/-

Qualification & experience: Post Graduate degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Meteorology/M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Agrimet/Ag. Phys./Agronomy/Soil Science/Agricultural Satistics/ Environmental Science/Environment Management/ B.Sc. (Ag) with MCA in Computer Science from a recognized University/Institution
Preference will be given to Ph.D. candidate with knowledge/experience of working under FASAL project and in Meteorological data processing/ remote sensing / GIS/Crop Simulation Modeling

Selection Process : Selection will be based on Interview.

The applicants can deposit processing fee online in the Comptroller’s Saving Account No. 65031154928 IFSC Code No. SBIN0050279 through RTGS/NEFT. The applicants can also deposit the processing fee (personally/By Post) in shape of Bank Draft payable at State Bank of India/UCO Bank, Nauni-Solan-173230 (HP) which should be prepared in the Name of the Comptroller, Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, NauniSolan. 
 The applicants can also send their applications along with processing fee to The Director of Research, UHF, Nauni-Solan-173230 (HP) (By Post/Personally) but It is not the responsibility of the University if the application is received after due date, due to delay of post. 
The date of Interview will be informed to the applicants through their e-mail/Mobile No. 
The candidates having marks issued in the form of CGPA/OGPA should send approved conversion table/formula along with the application . 
The appointments on these posts will be made at a fixed salary, purely temporary on coterminus basis with the project concerned and availability of funds, whichever is earlier. 
The candidates applying for these posts shall have no claim for their regularization against the said posts. 
 The number of posts may vary depending upon the need of the project. 
 A candidate applying for more than one post should send a separate application form along with all documents and the requisite processing fee for each post/position. 
Incomplete application or those received after last date will not be entertained and will be rejected straightway and fee paid will not be refunded. 
The University reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts, without assigning any reason. 
 The University will not accept as valid any arguments or plea such as breakdown, mail, communications, illness etc. for non-attendance of the interview. 
Candidate must have all the original testimonials at the time of interview. 
Though every care has been taken, yet any mistake crept inadvertently is subject to correction. 
The Projects in which enhanced emoluments have been mentioned, the candidates shall be eligible for the same upon continuously serving for two years in the same project.
