As per Notification No. HCL/MCP/HR/Trade App./2025-2 dated 31.01.2026, a total of 47 Trade Apprentice posts are available in various trades.
This is an excellent opportunity for 10th pass and ITI qualified candidates who are looking for apprenticeship training in a Government of India undertaking.

Educational Qualification
For Sl. No. 1 & 2 (Blaster, Driver Cum Mechanic):
- Passed 10th / Matric under 10+2 system or equivalent
- No ITI required
For Sl. No. 3 to 10:
- Passed 10th / Matric
- ITI Certificate in relevant trade from a recognized institute
Age Limit (as on Cut-off Date)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 Years
- OBC – 3 Years
- As per Government rules
Important Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates with Diploma / B.E. / higher professional qualifications are not eligible.
- Higher academic qualifications like BA/BSc/BCom will not get any extra weightage.
- ITI passed candidates before 2024 must submit an affidavit stating they have not undergone apprenticeship or employment earlier.
Selection Process
Selection will be purely merit-based:
For ITI Trades:
- 30% weightage – ITI marks
- 70% weightage – 10th marks
For Non-ITI Trades (Blaster & Driver Cum Mechanic):
- 100% weightage – 10th marks
In case of tie, older candidate will be preferred.
Stipend Details
- Stipend will be paid as per Apprenticeship Act rules and Government norms.
Physical Fitness
- Selected candidates must be medically fit as per HCL standards.

- CGPA in 10th will be converted to percentage by multiplying with 9.5.

- Apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in HCL after completion.
