Essential Qualification Village Development Officer Recruitment

  • A Graduate Degree from a recognized university.
  • Knowledge of working in Hindi (Devanagari script) and Rajasthan's culture.
  • A computer qualification certificate is mandatory. Options include:
    • "O" Level or higher certificate by DOEACC.
    • COPA / DPCS certificate.
    • Diploma in Computer Science/Application.
    • Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering.
    • Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology (RS-CIT).

Village Development Officer Recruitment Age Limit

18 and 40 years as of 01/01/2026. As the recruitment has not been conducted for the last three years, a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit will be given to all applicants. Further age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.

Selection Process Village Development Officer Recruitment

  1. Written Examination: An offline OMR-based test will be conducted.
    • Total Questions: 160
    • Total Marks: 200
    • Duration: 3 Hours
    • Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
  3. Medical Examination: A final medical check-up will be conducted before appointment.
