Nature of Duties: Performing nursing/midwifery duties in Hospital/Dispensaries.

Selection procedure for  - Nurse/A will consist of tests in 3 stages – Stage 1 - Preliminary Test : Screening examinations to be held to shortlist candidates. The format of the screening examinations will be as follows: 1. Examination will consist of 50 multi choice questions(choice of 4 answers) of one hour duration in the following proportion: a. Mathematics – 20 questions b. Science – 20 questions c. General awareness – 10 questions 2. ‘3’ marks for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. 3. All candidates with <40% in General category and <30% in reserved category will be screened out. Stage 2 - Advanced Test : All candidates Screened in Stage 1 will be allowed to undertake Stage 2 (Advance Test) in their respective trade. 1. The Test will comprise 50 multi choice questions (choice of 4 answers) of two hour duration. 2. ‘3’ marks for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. 3. Merit List of candidates will be prepared after Stage-2 based upon the scores obtained in Stage-2 only. 4. All candidates with <30% in General category and <20% in reserved category will be screened out. Stage 3 - Skill Test : Based upon the Merit List prepared after Stage-2, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage 3 (Skill Test). Candidates clearing the skill test will be shortlisted and empanelled in order of Merit based on the marks secured in Stage 2. 1. The number of candidates shortlisted for Skill Test will depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage 2 but will not exceed 4 - 5 times the number of vacancies in each trade. 2. The Skill Test will be based on Go/No-Go basis.

Magistrate in the Kashmir division within whose jurisdiction he had ordinarily resided; or b) Any other authority designated in this behalf by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to the effect that he had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from the 1st day of January, 1980 to the 31st day of December, 1989 11. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for the receipt of the applications (10/10/2018) 12. The candidate shall have experience in handling activities related to HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) in a Shipyard / Factory. Experience of working in an ERP/SAP/ computerized environment desirable. The candidate shall have good communication skills. Working knowledge in Hindi/Bengali is desirable. Job Requirements: Should be a good team player and shall demonstrate professionalism in official activities.

Should be willing to travel at short notice, willing to take responsibility to work against the set targets within the time frame etc. Responsible for over safety of the HCSL units and the safety during the EPC contracts. SOPs to be developed related to yard safety. Duties associated with the post include frequent inspection of deep tanks and restricted spaces in ships and therefore call for a high degree of physical fitness. Liaisoning with various government/ statutory agencies. Not limited to the above, the officer shall be liable to undertake any other duties as directed by HCSL Management.

Educational Qualifications: a) मैिůक और इलेि³ůिशयन ůेड म¤ आईटीआई Matriculation with ITI in Electrician Trade b) िश±ुता अिधिनयम 1961 के अंतगªत िश±ुता ÿिश±ण जłर पूणªहोना चािहए Must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act-1961 c) भारतीय िवīुत िनयम के अंतगªत खदानŌ के िलए एलटी पिमªट या 440-550 वोÐट्स माइिनंग पाट्ªस पिमªट, खदानŌ के िलए लागू हो और जो स±म ÿािधकारी दुवारा जारी िकया गया होगा और एचटी पिमªट के बल जॉइिनंग LT permit under IE Rules for mines or 440-550 Volts mining parts permit issued by Competent Authority applicable to mines and HT permit for cable joining and overhead lines issued by the competent authority applicable to mines.


Appointment to the above posts will be subject to the candidate being medically fit as per the standards prescribed for the post by the company. The selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination by the company’s Authorized Medical Board & the final Appointment / Joining will be subject to the Medical Fitness Certificate so issued by company’s Authorized Medical Board only
