Essential Qualification BSF Constable GD Sports Quota Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Sports Qualification: Players who have participated or won a medal in specified International or National level competitions between 04/11/2023 and 04/11/2025 are eligible. The order of preference will be given to medal winners in international competitions, followed by national-level medalists.

BSF Constable GD Sports Quota Recruitment 2025 Age Limit

The age limit for this recruitment is 18 to 23 years as of 1st August 2025.

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms:

  • SC/ST: 5 years.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years.

Selection Process BSF Constable GD Sports Quota Recruitment 2025

  1. Documentation: All original documents related to age, education, caste, and sports achievements will be verified. Candidates’ identities will also be verified through biometrics.
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify in the documentation stage will undergo a PST to check if they meet the prescribed physical standards for height and chest.
  3. Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Candidates will be shortlisted for the DME based on merit, which is determined by the marks awarded for their sports achievements.
  4. Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate for their sports achievements as per the criteria mentioned in the notification.

  • Female, SC, and ST Candidates: Fee is exempted.
