Qualification :Graduation( in the teaching subject) and B.Ed. AND Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test(TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose AND Competence to teach through the medium/media as required. At least he/she should have a language paper in Secondary level.VI. For PTI:- Graduate from a recognized University with Diploma in Physical training from a recognized institution. Or B. P.E.D. from a recognised University and Higher Secondary For Fine Arts:- Bachelor's Degree with Drawing & Painting/Fine Arts with minimum 2 years full time Diploma from a recognized Institution. For Music/Dance:- Minimum Educational Qualification- 1) Higher Secondary or its equivalent . Candidates possessing qualification higher than H.S such as Graduation/Post. Graduation are also eligible..2) Degree/Diploma Certificate in the relevant stream of cultural talent for which notified from a Government recognized institute. Desirable:- a) Experience in the field and performance given on All India Radio/ Doordarshan etc. b)Prizes won at National Level. c) Assessment of talent would be in the relevant cultural discipline, on the basis of Practical Demonstration and on the basis of Testimonials/Prizes etc. d)Time and Venue of Practical Demonstration will be fixed by the Railways and will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
